Kids are creative!
We have a great opportunity for kids & adults of Oasis to learn skills in the creative arts while discovering how to worship God, serve in His house and become leaders among their peers. If your elementary-age child has the gift of singing, dancing, acting or playing a musical instrument, or would like to learn these skills, this is the place. If you're a creative adult who has a heart for kids, then you belong here too!
What Does KidCREATIVE Do?
Every Monday evening, adults and children meet at Oasis to prepare the creative elements that supplement our Sunday Elementary and Preschool services. We emphasize good singing technique and spend time learning new songs, skits, and dance moves. Our Kid Leaders are scheduled to be part of the singing and drama teams once or twice a month during the children's services. They’re also encouraged to participate with the praise & worship team on stage whenever they attend service, even if they’re not on the schedule.

What Happens at Rehearsal?
Kids begin by digging into the Bible in age-appropriate small groups led by adults. Here they're encouraged to share their joys & concerns with each other while building long-lasting relationships. Next, adults and kids spend time worshipping passionately together. Finally, everyone breaks out into various creative groups to rehearse the upcoming songs, skits, dancing and lessons for the Sunday services. KidCREATIVE rehearsals are exciting nights energized with lots of creative ideas and fun!

As kids practice their God-given gifts, they learn how to apply them to His purpose in their lives, and they grow as young leaders with good character and integrity.
PARENTS! Mondays are made for Families!
Join a Monday night Parents' Connect Group at Oasis! We offer connect groups that focus on parenting, single moms, and a marriage/pre-marital class. These group meet at exactly the same time as KidCreative. While your elementary-age child is having fun down the hall, you can jump into these separate groups for support, encouragement and parental strength. Together we dig into many resources--the Bible, books, dvd's and life experiences--to sharpen each other and build friendships with like-minded families. MOMS also help prepare crafts & decorate the Kids wing from time to time: DADS chip in, helping to hang stage lights & build props, or they take a walk to Starbucks for a quick outting.FREE CHILDCARE FOR KIDS AGES 0 - 5!
