Here are some opportunities to serve:
Parking Team: At Oasis, our aim is to create an atmosphere where people feel welcomed, and this atmosphere is first created in the parking lot. We are looking for friendly people who like to have fun, wave flags and help Oasis attendees and guests find a place to park on the weekend.
Safety and Response Team: The Safety and Response Team serves a vital purpose by ensuring that Oasis is a safe place to come and worship. We take pride in knowing that we get the opportunity to protect and serve the thousands of people who walk into Oasis on a regular basis. We are looking for police officers, firefighters, people with security experience or people with a heart to keep Oasis safe to join this team.
Green Room Team: Do you enjoy cooking and hosting? If you have culinary skills and love to be of service to others, the Green Room may be the team for you! The green room teams serves healthy meals to our Pastors, staff and special guest speakers each weekend.
Usher Team: We couldn’t run service without the Usher Team! This team is full of amazing people who enjoy working together to help people find their seats and provide a great weekend experience.
Hospitality: This is an excellent volunteer opportunity for those who love to care for people. Every Sunday we provide assorted hot drinks and simple conversation while people are waiting to go into service. This small gesture of kindness always leaves a long lasting impression for the days to come. This is a great way to meet and connect with new people every time you serve!
Service Ops: Do you want to grow in your leadership? Do you love problem solving? Service Ops is a group of leaders in our church who help make sure that weekend services and special events run smoothly.
Welcome Team: The Welcome Team has the privilege of welcoming people to the House of God! We get to be among the first people to have contact with those coming to our church, and as such, we have the opportunity to make them feel loved and accepted, whether they are visiting for the first time or they’re long-time members. This is a great honor!
Emergency Response Team: The Emergency Response Team exists to meet the emergency needs of anyone who attends a weekend service at Oasis. Members of the ERT are certified in numerous areas including CPR and First Aid. They will be available during services to assist in the case of any emergency.
Resource Team: The Resource Team is an amazing group of volunteers who are dedicated to helping provide our church with great books, DVDs, CDs and music that will help people develop their faith in God.
