Congratulations on your life-changing decision to follow Jesus Christ! Now that you have made this decision, you are probably wondering what is your next step? Here are 3 simple next steps to help you with your decision to follow Christ.

• Commit to attend church weekly.   Make it a point to regularly participate in church. If you are in LA, please join us next week at Oasis Church in person. If you are not on LA, please let us know via online connect card, where you are from, and we would love to try and help you find a church in your area to grow in your faith. If there isn’t a church in your area, please make Oasis Church Online part of your normal week.

• Read the Bible.  Get in the habit of reading your Bible daily.  As milk is to an infant, so is the Bible to someone who has recently begun to follow Christ. The Word of God will help you grow strong and gain understanding of who God is, and what He has done for you.  A great place to start is to follow along the Oasis Daily Bible Reading Plan.   The Bible Reading Plan is tweeted every morning (Follow us @OasisLA), posted online at PhilipWagner.com, and on our Oasis Community website known as the City 

• Pray.  Communication is vital to every relationship, and in the same way, essential to your relationship with God.  Prayer is simply talking to God. Speak to Him every day, and share your thoughts, your fears, your dreams and your requests.  Know that God wants to hear your prayers because He loves you, and He wants to have a close personal relationship with you.
