Oasis Church was founded in 1984 - which means we’ve been serving and loving Los Angeles for over 40 years!
Our history is rich, and such an important piece of who we are.
With over 40 years of history, we shaped our mission statement ‘Until All of Los Angeles is Saved’ to reflect our church’s incredible commitment to our amazing city.
Our Founding Pastors
Oasis Church was founded by Philip & Holly Wagner in 1984. Beginning in a Beverly Hills home with a group of 10 people, the Wagners had a vision to see Los Angeles encounter the love of God. Their dream has always been for the church to be an oasis in a dry place – full of grace, love, faith, hope and generosity.
After 35 years of ministry the Wagners now serve as our Founding Pastors, after passing the title of Lead Pastor to Julian and Christina Lowe in October of 2019.

Our Lead Pastors
In October of 2019, we held a celebration service as Philip and Holly Wagner “passed the baton” to our Lead Pastors Julian and Christina Lowe. As a church family we’ll never forget this profound moment!
Our Building
Wilshire Christian Church was built in 1911. The building features beautiful stained glass, a pipe organ, and beautiful details in every inch.
Oasis Church moved in to the building in 2012, and we love that we get to call this corner of Wilshire and Normandie our home!
