At Oasis Kids we exist to help children of all ages DISCOVER the love of God, CONNECT with His church family, GROW in faith, SERVE the church and SHARE the gospel.

Oasis Kids at Home

Full Kids Ministry is provided from Birth – 6th grade during our 9am, 11am, and 1 pm Adult Worship Services. We offer fun and interactive programs that are tailored to each age group. Safety and security is our number one value. Every children’s ministry volunteer has undergone reference and background checks, and a personal interview for the security of our children.

If you would like to know more about Oasis Kids, please contact Maddy Lewis, Kid's Pastor, at (818) 253-4710 or

  • We begin accepting children into the classrooms 15 minutes before the start of each worship service.
  • Parents are given a security tag when checking a child into the classroom and must return it in order to pick up their child; no child will ever be released without the parent presenting their security tag.
  • Upon check-in, parents will be asked to provide an emergency contact number.
  • If an Oasis Kids staff member needs to contact you, you’ll be notified via text or a call on your mobile phone.
  • We maintain a “two-adult rule” classroom policy. There must be at least two volunteers in a classroom before we will begin accepting children. Children are never allowed to leave the classroom without adult supervision.
  • The children in our care are always accompanied to the restroom by one of our adult volunteers, but our volunteers never take a child to the restroom alone.

Our volunteer team teaches the children about the basics of their faith in Jesus Christ through lessons based on stories of the Bible in ways that are easy to understand. They sing great worship songs with lots of movement, watch puppet shows, play games, and work on coloring projects that have include take home conversation starters.

What should parents bring?

If your Preschool child has dietary restrictions, please bring something he/she can snack on during class should they get hungry. Otherwise, we will provide a healthy snack. We are a nut free environment, so please do not pack your child any snacks that contain nuts.

**All Preschoolers should be potty trained. Any child in diapers will be urged to participate in Toddler Services.

Location: Ground Floor, various classrooms |  At 9am, 11am, and 1pm

Kids relate to our exciting and engaging gatherings and have a ton of fun! They learn how to develop Godly character and become followers of Jesus Christ through interactive, visual Bible lessons that utilize a cool mixed-media format. They participate in great worship music, live teaching, and play fun games that support the lesson. They are also part of dynamic small groups, filled with prayer and personal one-on-one discussions where friendships are formed that will last a lifetime.

Elementary classes are divided into separate age group classrooms, in order to cater to child development.

What should parents bring?

  • An age-appropriate Bible for your child if they have one
  • Out of concern for the severe food allergies of some of our kids please do not send your child with any snacks containing nuts. We are a nut free environment.

GLUE=Giving, Loving, Understanding, Encouraging. This team is the "glue" that gives uniquely gifted children access to Oasis Kids!

“Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex” - Psalm 139:14

GLUE is a ministry for children who have physical and/or developmental challenges. Our trained “GLUE” volunteers provide one on one care for kids to experience the love of Christ and grow their faith in God.

At Oasis, we believe all children should be included in our Kids experiences, so we’ve created a team of trained volunteer coaches who provide one-on-one assistance to children with unique needs or disabilities, enabling them to fully participate in our Kids experiences. Each child is matched with a volunteer coach to give them the best experience possible for learning about God’s love.

What does a GLUE Coach do?

Coaches offer physical assistance and behavior intervention. They help facilitate communication with others and provide overall assistance to enable the child’s participation in Oasis Kids experiences.

Is any child eligible to receive assistance from GLUE?

Yes, anyone who regularly attends Oasis is eligible for this ministry and no membership is required.

I would like a GLUE Coach for my child. How do I apply?

For more info please contact Maddy Lewis, Kid's Pastor, at (818) 253-4710 or

How long does the process take?

We try to find a volunteer who matches your child and their specific needs. It may take a week or a month, but we will work with you to find the right person for your child. Our goal is for the volunteer and parent to form a solid partnership that can become a lasting friendship for the child.

What is the training and screening process for GLUE Coaches?

Some of our volunteers have educational and professional experience in child development and disabilities, but this training is not required. However, every volunteer undergoes training, a background check, and a personal interview for the security of our children.

Can my child attend Oasis Kids without having a GLUE Coach?

Whenever either your child is unassigned, or your coach is not available, we encourage families to bring their child into class, but for the safety of all the children, parents should always be prepared to spend time in the classroom or take their child out of service if necessary.

“Then Jesus said to his host, “When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”  Luke 14:12-14

Water Baptism

Water Baptism

Water baptism is a public declaration of an inward decision that your child has made to follow Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Our desire is that every child who wants to get baptized understands what baptism is and why they're making that decision. So we'd love to invite you to our upcoming Oasis Kid’s Baptism Class. This class is for elementary age children, grades 3-6, who have recently accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior.

During the class, we will discuss salvation, water baptism and how children can begin to grow in learning to live the lifestyle of Jesus. After the class, your child will receive a personal interview with a member of our Oasis Kids Leadership Team to make sure that they understand salvation and the decision that they are making.

This class is a prerequisite for kids who wish to be baptized at Oasis Church and, to make it as beneficial as possible, we require at least one parent to attend with their child.
